Interpreting quantum randomness

For last few years, Prof. Dr. Maciej Lewenstein has been conducting an interdisciplinary research project in collaboration with Dr. Reiko Yamada (composer and postdoctoral research fellow at ICFO). In this joint talk, they will discuss how the team has been attempting to produce sound timbres from the genuine quantum true randomness which so far culminated into a research paper, musical scores, record releasee and performance involving live musicians at Barcelona’s Sonar Festival, as well as their new project on sonification of Wigner Function.
