The Scholarship Committee, appointed by prof. dr. hab. Przemysław Wojtaszek - the Vice-Chancellor in charge of the Doctoral School at UAM - to competition for the position of a "scholarship holder-doctoral student" in the MAESTRO 11 research project (NCN grant no. UMO-2019/34/A/ST2/00081), during its meeting on October 12th, 2022, unanimously decided to award the scholarship to Ms Shilan Ismael Abo, M.Sc.

Requirements:
1. Master's degree in physics.2. Status of a doctoral student at Adam Mickiewicz University.3. Established knowledge of quantum optics.4. Knowledge of the QuTiP and MatLab programming library.5. Interest in the research topics specified at the grant website.6. Knowledge of English to enable free communication and scientific work in that language (including dissemination of results).

Description of tasks:
The scholarship holder will conduct theoretical research on multi-photon and multi-phonon blockade effects and photon-induced tunneling.
Terms and conditions of employment:
1. Scholarship in the amount of 5000PLN/month.2. Duration of the scholarship: 12 months (sic!).
